2019 LOCS Holiday Party December 11th!

The Annual LOCS Holiday Party is coming up at 6:00PM on December 11th in the Grotto at Angelo's in Monona (5801 Monona Dr).

Please bring cash to donate to Second Harvest Food Bank and supplies to donate to Domestic Abuse Intervention Services (click for the Wish List).

Participate in the Gift Exchange! Bring a Buffett or tropical gift valued at $15-$20 if you wish to participate in the the gift exchange! Handmade and creative gifts encouraged! Bring small bills or jokes if you want to steal someone else's loot!

Don't forget to wear your ugly sweater for the ugly sweater contest!

Fall Highway Cleanup Saturday (10/19)!

Hot on the heals of the Chili Cook-off on Friday at Mary's, The Fall Highway Cleanup is coming up this Saturday!

On Saturday, October 19th, meet at 10AM at Morgan's in Pine Bluff, 8640 W Mineral Point Rd, corner of Mineral Point (Cty S) and County P.  After the cleanup we'll have food and drinks at Morgan's (and catch the Badger Game).

In the event of rain, we will still clean. If there is lightning, we'll meet and reschedule cleaning.

Bring work gloves, long pants and boots are recommended because it can be muddy along the road.  Forecast looks good (and almost warm) so far!

If you find the shaker (of salt -- maybe not full) turn it in for a free drink!

August Happy Hour - Madison Night Market!

Our August Happy Hour is coming right up!  We'll meet up on Thursday, August 8th at Madison Night Market!  Meet up at Peace Park starting around 6:30 and Madison's steel drum band, Panchromatic Steel plays at 8PM!

There are food and drink vendors as well as a number of bars and restaurants.  Keep up with any movements on the Facebook Event!

Monthly Meeting and Highway Cleanup - 7/31

Our next monthly meeting and summer highway cleanup is at 6:00PM on July 31st at Morgan's in Pine Bluff 8640 W Mineral Point Rd, corner of Mineral Point (Cty S) and County P. We'll meet in the parking lot at 6:00, clean up the highway and follow with a short meeting at the bar. Arrive early for a drink before we clean!

Pre-Concert Party at Mary's 7/19!

It's Buffett Concert time, so it's time for the annual pre-party at Mary's house the night before (July 19th)!

Enchiladas and Margaritas or Rum Runners are provided, bring an appetizer/desert to pass, and beverages you desire and gather around the campfire in Mary's yard to relax before the show!

The party will be on the patio and yard around the fire pit, so dress appropriately!

The party will swing in to action around 6:30PM and go until 10:30!  (Bearing in mind most people have to get up for the show on Saturday..)

Jimmy's 50th Birthday Party 7/13

Jimmy is Turning 50!

Join us in celebrating Jimmy's 50th trip around the sun on Saturday, July 13th from 6-9PM at Spartan Bowl in McFarland!

Our own Grand Macaw, Tommy Mader will be spinning tunes and there will be appetizers and desserts provided.

No gifts please, but bring a card and swamp Jimmy in cards!

There will be a social half-hour at 7:00, followed by the meeting at 7:30.

Following right on it's heels, our spring highway cleanup is coming up Sunday April 28th! We're meeting at 10:00AM in the parking lot at Morgan's in Pine Bluff, 8640 W Mineral Point Rd, corner of Mineral Point (Cty S) and County P.

We're hoping to hit the road at 10:00, so arrive a little early to get your bags and orange vest (and Bloody Mary from the bar if they're open early)!  After we'll stick around for some lunch and drinks.
